The focus of the two-day conference is to bridge laboratory research conducted in the areas of nanotechnology and drug delivery to clinical application for the detection, diagnosis, imaging, and treatment of cancer. The conference will bring together leaders in the field who will discuss new and emerging concepts and technologies and challenges in clinical advancement.
Topics in modulating the tumor microenvironment and harnessing the immune system for improved drug delivery and therapy will also be covered in planned thematic sessions. Finally, funding opportunities for cancer nanomedicine from the National Cancer Institute/National Institutes of Health will be presented.
