DESCRIPTION

Following the success of the Energy Future conference in 2014, the second Energy Future conference will be run again in Sydney, Australia in July 2016. Unlike the previous conference, the 2016 edition will bring a different dimension by incorporating the Inaugural Computational Symposium led by Integrated Materials Design Centre. There will be some exciting plenary and keynote speakers, forum discussions on hot topics, specialized workshops, streamlined technical oral and poster presentations as well as exhibition. Each conference will run its own scientific programme. Collectively, it is anticipated 200-300 people will attend the 2016 Conference. The conference is an opportunity to generate and foster nexus between the scientific world, the policy makers, industries and the community. It also aims to promote discussions on strategies to address every level of the energy challenge facing society as well as global and Australian perspectives on resources and energy. This 2nd edition of Energy Future Conference with specific themes on “Energy Storage – from generation to distribution” will cover international advances from research to industry alongside an impressive exhibition showcasing advanced energy technologies from renewables to gas processing and coal mining.
