9th International Conference on Computational Heat and Mass Transfer

Location Poland Poland - Cracow
Start Date May 23, 2016
End Date May 26, 2016

DESCRIPTION

The 9 th International Conference on Computational Heat and  Mass Transfer will be held in Cracow, Poland, in May 2016.

Computational techniques and methods are evolutionary field from macroscopic level to nano level, using continuum and discrete mechanics. It is necessary for scientist and engineers to come together every two years in a relaxed environment to discuss new ideas and developments in the area of computational methods and applications, especially in the topic of fluid dynamics, heat and mass transfer in non-reactive and reactive processes. Also, it is good opportunity for new scientists and engineers to explore the art of computational methods.

Topics of the conferences are, but not limited to, the following:

  • Discrete methods
  • Lattice Boltzmann method
  • Molecular dynamic simulations
  • Monte Carlo method
  • Cellular automata
  • Recent developments on Navier-Stokes equations solvers
  • Validation of computational methods
  • Multi-phases, gas-liquid, liquid-solid, etc.
  • Solidification and melting
  • Complex chemical reaction modeling
  • Reactive flows and combustion
  • Internal flow and heat transfer
  • Double diffusive convection
