ABSTRACT
As part of an integrated measurement system, this document identifies parameters and conditions that are required for the development and validation of methods for the application of asymmetric flow field flow fractionation and centrifugal field flow fractionation for the analysis of nano-objects and their aggregates and agglomerates dispersed in aqueous media. In addition to fractionating the components, the analysis can include size, size distribution, concentration and material identification with one or more suitable detectors. General instructions and procedures are provided for the application, and minimum reporting requirements are specified that are necessary to reproduce a procedure and convey critical aspects.
