ABSTRACT

This document defines terms used in the field of coating materials (lacquers, paints and raw materials for paints and paints). Terms relating to specific applications and properties are dealt with in standards relating to such applications and properties, e.g. B. Corrosion protection (see ISO 12944), powder coatings (see ISO 8130-14), electrocoating (see ISO 22553-1) and rheology (see ISO 3219-1). Nanotechnology terms are aligned with ISO/TS 80004-4. Terms related to pigments and fillers are aligned with ISO 18451-1.
