ABSTRACT

ČSN EN ISO 29701 This International Standard specifies the Limulus amoebozyten lysate (LAL) reaction test for the detection and quantitative evaluation of nanomaterials intended for in-vitro cell-based biological control systems. The test is suitable for samples of nanomaterials dispersed in an aqueous medium, eg water, serum or reaction medium, and these media with nanomaterials maintained at a temperature of 37 ° C. This International Standard applies only to in vitro systems, but can also be adapted for nanomaterials that receive animals by parenteral (extraintestinal) routes.
