Germany is located in Central Europe. It covers a total area of 357,022 km2 and has a population of 81,305,856 as of 2012. Germany has a social market economy that is considered the fifth largest in the world following the German unification in 1990. Germany’s economic status has recovered from the recession phase between 2008 and 2009 by accepting manufacturing orders and exports from outside the Euro zone.
