Although the number of nanotechnology publications has grown by more than 750 percent during the last 20 years, the graph of the annual growth rate shows a descending trend. It is despite the fact that the nano-articles include only 9% of the total WOS indexed articles. Is the nanoscience publication close to reaching its saturation stage?
