New Xiaomi Mijia Graphene Baseboard Heater 2 Arrives

Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Graphene Baseboard Heater 2 in China. The new model has up to 2,200W power, heating your room to temperatures up to 28°C (~82°F). You can control the device with a touch panel, voice commands or the Xiaomi app, with a built-in thermostat automatically switching the gadget off when the room reaches your desired temperature.

The Xiaomi Mijia Graphene Baseboard Heater 2 has been launched in China. Graphene technology helps the heater to warm rapidly, generating heat in as little as five seconds. Far-infrared light waves transfer the heat around the room, and the device has up to 2,200W power. Xiaomi suggests that this heating method is gentler on the atmosphere and less dryer than other models.

The Mijia Graphene Baseboard Heater 2 can be adjusted to temperatures between 16 and 28°C (~61 and 82°F), with a timer allowing you to set the device to run for up to twelve hours. A built-in thermostat can help you to save energy by switching the gadget off when your desired temperature is reached. You can control the device via an integrated LCD with touch controls; the display can also show the current temperature and device status. Alternatively, you can adjust the heater with Xiao AI voice commands or via the Mijia app, where you can contol the target temperature and timer. Plus, there are low lighting and quiet mode settings to avoid the heater disturbing you while you sleep.

Other features of the Xiaomi heater include protection from overheating and a child lock. The gadget has a minimal design and white body, measuring 1,025 x 134 x 189 mm (~40.4 x 5.3 x 7.4-in). Plus, the device is IPX4-rated waterproof, which the company suggests makes it suitable for use in a bathroom or to help dry clothes. You can now buy the Xiaomi Mijia Graphene Baseboard Heater 2 in China for the discounted price of 399 yuan (~US$55). When this introductory offer ends, the gadget will retail for 449 yuan (~US$62).
