Northwestern University researchers have developed lipid nanoparticle spherical nucleic acids (LNP-SNAs) that significantly enhance CRISPR delivery. These DNA-coated nanostructures protect gene-editing cargo, enter cells up to three times more effectively than standard lipid nanoparticles, reduce toxicity, and boost editing efficiency and repair accuracy.
