Jeio began the operation of a 300-ton CNT conductive material plant last year. Conductive materials play the role of promoting movement of electrons between the anode and cathode of secondary batteries. Though carbon black is the mainly used conductive material currently, Deuk-joo Kang, the CEO of Jeio, was confident that the use of CNT would increase.
