Materials for Energy and Sustainability (ISMES X)

ISMES school returns to the place where it was born in 2010, the prestigious "Ettore Majorana" Centre in Erice, enchanted surroundings, where culture, beauty and charm mix with science, in a timeless atmosphere. The school will review critical materials issues for the renewable and sustainable production and storage of energy. The aim is to teach the state-of-the-art and present future perspectives of these areas, which are ever more important for our planet as climate change consequences of business-as-usual become obvious. It will be a great opportunity to bring together an international community of students, young scientists, and experts in a unique atmosphere for reciprocal benefits in terms of enthusiasm, knowledge and new ideas.
