Nanotechnologies - Health and safety practices in occupational settings

This document describes workplace health and safety practices applicable to nanotechnologies. This document focuses on the professional manufacture and use of manufactured nano-objects and their aggregates and agglomerates (NOAA) greater than 100 nm. It does not address the health and safety issues or practices associated with NOAAs generated by natural processes, hot processes and other ordinary operations that unintentionally emit NOAAs, nor the potential consumer exposures or uses, even whether any of the information contained in this document may be relevant in these areas.
