Nanotechnologies. Part 8. Nanomanufacturing processes. Terms and definitions

This standard is part of the ISO/TS 80004 series of standards and establishes terms and definitions for concepts in the field of nanotechnology related to nanotechnology-based manufacturing processes. Not all processes defined in this standard are carried out at the nanoscale. Depending on the control capabilities of such processes, both nanomaterials and conventional materials are used as starting materials in the manufacture of products. This standard does not apply to equipment, auxiliary materials, or control methods used in nanotechnology-based manufacturing processes.
