This standard applies to nanostructured magnesium oxide obtained by calcining magnesium hydroxide and intended for use as a highly effective non-toxic inorganic filler and/or additive for the production of all types of plastics and rubber, in the production of transformer steels, as a feedstock in the chemical industry, as well as in the pharmaceutical and food industries.
