This part of the IEC 62607 series of standards covers electrode nanomaterials and specifies a test method for measuring contact resistance and coating resistance of nanomaterials. This method allows: a) to decide if the composite material is suitable for the coating; b) select the best composite coating combinations with manufacturing techniques suitable for their application. This International Standard specifies requirements for sample preparation, experimental procedures used to measure and calculate contact and surface resistance, and methods for interpreting results and analyzing data.
