This standard, part of the IEC 62607 series of standards, applies to cathode nanomaterials in powder form used to manufacture electrodes for electrical energy storage devices and specifies methods for determining the density in the compacted and rolled state. Based on the results obtained using the methods specified in this standard, the user can decide on the suitability of the cathode nanomaterial for the application. This standard also establishes requirements for sample preparation and data processing.
