Part of the IEC 62607 family of standards, this standard applies to powdered cathode nanomaterials used in the manufacture of electrodes for electrical energy storage devices and specifies methods for determining the density in the compacted and rolled state. Based on the results obtained using the methods specified in this International Standard, the user will be able to make a decision about the suitability of the cathode nanomaterial for the application. This International Standard also specifies requirements for sample preparation and results handling.
