ABSTRACT
This standard, part of the IEC 62607 series of standards, applies to electrode nanomaterials used in the manufacture of electrical energy storage devices and establishes a method for the determination of water content by coulometric titration using the Karl Fischer method. This standard specifies requirements for sampling, test equipment, and processing of results, and also contains an example of testing (see Appendix A). This standard does not apply to electrode nanomaterials that can react with the main components of the Karl Fischer reagent with the release of water and with iodine or iodide ion.
