This standard establishes a list of characteristics of industrial nano-objects that must be agreed upon by the manufacturer and consumer and included in the technical requirements for the materials. Application of this standard will ensure the supply of materials that meet the requirements for their subsequent processing and the manufacture of final products with consistent characteristics. This standard provides guidance for determining the characteristics of industrial nano-objects and recommends appropriate measurement methods.
