ABSTRACT
This part of the Colombian technical standard ISO / TS 80004 is applicable to nanotechnology used in medical diagnostics and therapeutics. Terms related to nanotechnology applications in health may be included in other parts of the Colombian technical standards of the ISO 80004 family and in other documents. Terms related to the exploitation of the characteristics of materials at the nanoscale for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes in relation to human diseases are found within this part of the NTC-ISO 80004 standard. The properties at the nanoscale may be included in materials that contain nanoscale elements or themselves are in nanoscale dimensions
