Nanotechnologies – Nano-enabled computational spectroscopic devices

This technical specification defines the generic terms for nano-enabled computational spectroscopic devices (NeCSD) as well as characteristics, and provides guidance on the measurement and evaluation methods for their determination. This document is intended to facilitate communication among manufactures, users and testing laboratories dealing with the characterization of the NeCSD, and supports quality assurance in the production and use of NeCSD. This document is applicable to varieties of computational spectroscopic devices with different techniques, e.g. disordered photonic structure, polychromator, quantum dot filters, photonic crystal slabs, colored nanowire array, or graded nanowire.
