This standard describes high-speed, high-volume evaluation of the cytotoxicity of three-dimensional model cells exposed to nanoparticles without optical interference. The experimental methods in this standard can be used in biological laboratories to culture and grow cells and evaluate the cytotoxicity of nanoparticles using three-dimensional model cells. This method applies to materials composed of nano-objects such as nanoparticles, nanopowders, nanofibers, nanotubes and nanowires, as well as materials composed of aggregates and aggregates of these materials.
