ABSTRACT

This standard, a technical specification, provides a method for measuring the fluorescence lifetime of semiconductor quantum dots (QDs) using the time-correlated single photon counting (TCSPC) technique. TCSPC is suitable for testing fluorescence lifetimes in the picosecond to nanosecond range. This standard applies only to liquid samples, which are stable dispersions of QDs, and not to solid samples. This standard includes:
