Guidance to safe handling of manufactured nanomaterials in workplace/laboratory

These guidelines may be applied to workshops or laboratories handling nanomaterials and may be applied to laboratories of national research institutions or public bodies. In addition, it can be applied not only to companies that produce large quantities of nanomaterials, but also to small-scale manufacturers for research purposes, and can also be applied to institutions that repair, inspect, or treat equipment for manufacturing nanomaterials. These guidelines may also apply to researchers, workers or supervisors of companies engaged in the disposal of nanomaterials. This guidance does not apply to unintentionally generated nanoparticles such as diesel exhaust gas or welding fumes.
