1 Korean Industrial Standard KS A 6203:2011 (confirmed in 2016) Guidance on safe management of nanotechnology-based products1 Scope This standard stipulates the necessary matters to prevent risks to the safety and health of stakeholders and the environment in advance during all processes of development, production, assembly, processing, import, sale, rental, and disposal of nanoproducts by businesses in order to increase the social acceptance of nanoproducts, ensure the sustainable development of related industries, ensure the benefits and safety of nanotechnology users and product consumers, and contribute to the promotion of nanoproduct development.
