Established by adopting ISO/TS 16550:2014(E) Nanotechnologies — Determination of silver nanoparticles potency by release of muramic acid from Staphylococcus aureus using the reprinting method to achieve an identical level, primarily using the English version of ISO. - Specifies the test method for evaluating the potential of silver nanoparticles to disrupt the cell wall of Staphylococcus aureus and the release of muramic acid, to be determined by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS).
