Established by adopting ISO/TR 12885:2018(E) Nanotechnologies — Health and safety practices in occupational settings, through identical reprinting using the English version of ISO as the primary source. - Describes occupational health and safety practices related to nanotechnology. This standard focuses on the occupational production and use of manufactured nanomaterials and aggregate and loose aggregates larger than 100 nm (NOAAs). This standard does not address health and safety issues or uses related to the production of NOAAs by natural processes, heating processes, and operations, nor does it address other standards that do not intentionally produce NOAAs or that expose consumers to or use, including certain information contained in this standard that is relevant.
