ABSTRACT
The standard specifies the instrumented penetration test method used for the determination of hardness and other parameters of materials for the following measurement ranges:
- macro: 2 N less than or equal to F less than or equal to 30 kN
- micro: 2 N > F; h > 0.2 micrometer
- nano: h less than or equal to 0.2 micrometer.
