DNA origami folded into nanoscale electromotor

Scientists have created the world's first working nanoscale electromotor. They designed a turbine engineered from DNA that is powered by hydrodynamic flow inside a nanopore, a nanometer-sized hole in a membrane of solid-state silicon nitride.
