DESCRIPTION
The 2014 Nobel Prize in Chemistry was awarded for the development of super-resolved fluorescence microscopy, including STED (Stimulated Emission Depletion) microscopy. This method can be used to observe processes, e.g., in cells, at particularly high resolution.
