Graphene–silver–silicon carbide platform achieves record phononic quantum interference for molecular sensing

Researchers at the University of California, University of North Texas, Pennsylvania State University, National Institute of Standards and Technology and Rice University have demonstrated a strong form of interference between phonons - the vibrations in a material’s structure that constitute the tiniest units, or quanta, of heat or sound in that system.
