Having already succeeded in 'filming' inter-molecular chemical reactions - using the electron beam of a transmission electron microscope (TEM) as a stop-frame imaging tool - researchers have now achieved time-resolved imaging of atomic-scale dynamics and chemical transformations promoted by metal nanoclusters.
