Caught in a spin: Spiral vortex streamlines delivery of nanomaterials into cells

Researchers from Korea University, in collaboration with the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University (OIST), have developed a rapid and efficient device that uses the power of a tiny fluid vortex to deform the cell membranes, allowing delivery of nanomaterials into cells. Their findings were recently published in the journal, ACS Nano.
