DESCRIPTION
Nanoparticles introduced into the body enter the lymphatic vessels. A research group led by Shinshu University Graduate School of Medicine has developed a new isolated lymphatic vessel lumen perfusion system that can move carbon nanotubes and other nanoparticles into surgically removed lymphatic vessels. The group succeeded in developing a novel experimental system to evaluate how nanoparticles move in lymphatic vessels and how they affect the physiological movement of lymphatic vessels.
