Getting warmer: Improving heat flux modeling

Researchers used molecular dynamics simulations to model heat transport at atomic scales. This allowed the three-dimensional structure responsible for the heat flux to be visualized. The work may lead to new techniques in the production of nanotech devices and microfluidic chips.
