Scientists develop a promising sorbent for removing antibiotics from wastewater

NUST MISIS researchers have created a reusable and environment friendly sorbent for cleaning antibiotics from wastewater. The proposed sorbent has a number of advantages compared to already known analogs—low production costs, simple design and ease of operation in treatment facilities. The results of the study are published in the journal Nanomaterials.
