DESCRIPTION
The detection of electrocatalytic reactions on single nanoparticles (NPs) by the nanoconfinement-amplified current has been made possible by single-NP collisions. It has lately been proven that stochastic collision electrochemistry improves the electrocatalytic activity of single NPs by reducing aggregation, deactivation, and detachment of nano-electrocatalysts adhering to the electrode surface.
