Adipose-targeted delivery of thyroid hormone alleviates hypercholesterolemia and atherosclerosis

A research team from LKS Faculty of Medicine, the University of Hong Kong (HKUMed) has developed thyroid hormone (TH) - encapsulated nanoparticles modified with adipose-homing peptide, which selectively transport TH to adipose tissues.
