Synthesizing Defect-Free Nanosheets with Ferroelectric Properties

Scientists from Nagoya University’s Institute for Future Materials and Systems have manufactured barium titanate (BaTiO3) nanosheets with a thickness of 1.8 nm, the thinnest thickness ever generated for a free-standing film.
