Second International Conference on Nanoenergy and Nanosystems 2016 (NENS2016)

Location China China - Beijing
Start Date Jul 13, 2016
End Date Jul 15, 2016

DESCRIPTION

Welcome you to the Second International Conference on Nanoenergy and Nanosystems 2016 (NENS2016), which will be held on July 13-15, 2016 in Beijing, China.
In recently years, a fast development of mobile electronics and sensor networks desperately need the supplies of power sources that will meet the independent, sustainable, maintain-free and continuous operations of small electronics. This trend of self-powering technologies is widely driven by applications of nanosensors in medical, environmental, infrastructure monitoring, internet of things and defenses. Nanoenergy is about the applications of nanomaterials and nanotechnology for harvesting energy from our living environment for powering micro/nano-systems. Nanomaterials will also have a broad impact to the large-scale energy, including energy harvesting, power management and energy storage. By integrating mobile power sources with a sensor network, a revolutionary technology is being incubated that will link the objects worldwide in the next 10 years. The objective of NENS2016 will focus on but not limited to following topics:

       Symposium 1: Nanogenerators and applications

Symposium 2: Self-powered sensors and systems

       Symposium 3: Piezotronics and  Piezo-phototronics

Symposium 4: Energy storage and self-charging power systems

Symposium 5: Hybridized energy cells and solar cells

Symposium 6: Photocalysis and water splitting

This conference will provide a platform for scientists in the related fields for exchange scientific information, building relationships, and possibly establishing collaborations. The conference is proposed biannually starting in 2014 and we hope to establish a brand name of its kind for the development of nanoenergy and nanosystems. As the chairman of NENS 2016, I will be pleased to welcome your participations from broad communities, and we will be happy to receive abstracts related to nanoenergy and nanosystems. We will do our best to make this an exciting and unforgettable experience for all the participants. I will look forward to meeting you.
