On behalf of the Organizing Committee of BIT’s 6th Annual
World Congress of Advanced Materials-2017 (WCAM-2017), we cordially
invite you to participate in this initiative congress.
WCAM-2017 will be held in Xi’an, China during June 14-16, 2017. It is
intended to provide a platform for professionals around the world to
exchange state-of-the-art research and development and identify
research needs and opportunities in this emerging field.
The 6th WCAM plans to shoot for 300+ oral presentations in Frontier of Advanced Material Science, Metamaterials & Super Performance Materials, Adaptive Structure & Smart Materials, Bio-Inspired Smart Materials, Smart Nanomaterials and Intelligent Systems, Smart Technologies from Advanced Materials and Industrial Symposia of Smart Materials. More than 800 world-renowned experts, academicians, senior scientists, industry executives, project leaders and young investigators from 40+ countries will get together to address the topics, issues, best practices and trends necessary to make the right decisions to guide their business strategies, and future science and technology direction.
Besides Xi’an, surrounded by beautiful mountains and rivers, is a famous destination for tourists. It has numerous historical sites such as Great Wild Goose Pagoda (大雁塔), the Drum Tower (钟鼓楼), the Huaqing Pond (华清池), Lotus Palace of Tang Dynasty (大唐芙蓉园). What’s more, the most famous spot is Museum of Emperor Qin’s Terra Cotta Warriors (秦兵马俑博物馆). When you enjoy the beautiful scenery of Xi’an, you can also taste the local food, Cruded Pancake in Mutton Soup (羊肉泡馍), the most famous and favorite dish in Xi’an.
