Femtosecond Dynamics research group led by Dr. Markus Kochat from Technische Universität Graz succeeded in first-ever visualizing the movement of isolated single molecules inside helium droplets, which was accomplished by forming an indium dimer molecule inside a helium droplet and triggering a vibration in the molecule by photoexcitation to observe the real-time movement of the nuclei.
