Evaluation of nanotechnology policies is of paramount importance in governance systems. The efficiency of evaluation systems can help to promote nanotechnology policies and contribute to the design of effective and desirable policies in the field of nanotechnology. Different countries, depending on the diverse frameworks employed in their science and technology governance systems, have designed varied mechanisms to evaluate nanotechnology policies and publish the results of their evaluations. This report focuses on the nanotechnology evaluation reports of various countries that have been amassed in the nanotechnology policy database at StatNano, examines the variations regarding these reports, and having studied national nanotechnology programs in several countries, reviews evaluation reports on the implementation of these programs, evaluator entities, and evaluation timeframes in these countries.
