This document describes the methodology for to measure the resuspension capacity of bulk materials containing or emitting NOAA or other particulate matter in a cellular fraction under standardized and reproducible conditions and specifies, for this purpose, the purpose of the rotary drum method. This document specifies the choice of instruments and devices as well as the procedures for calculating and expressing the results. It also provides guidelines for evaluating and recording data.
