Nanotechnologies - Determination of particle size and shape distribution by transmission electron microscopy

This document specifies a method for acquiring, measuring and analyzing transmission electron microscopy images in order to obtain size distributions and shape at the nanoscale. This document generally applies to nano-objects as well as to particles with dimensions greater than 100 nm. The exact operating range of the method depends on the required uncertainty and the performance of the transmission electron microscope. These elements can be evaluated according to the requirements described in this document.
