ABSTRACT
This document defines the methods for characterizing the morphology and identifying the elemental composition of catalysts and other inorganic impurities in them. crude and purified single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) powders and films, using scanning electron microscopy and energy-selective X-ray spectrometry analysis for this. The methods described for SWCNTs in this document can also be applied to the analysis of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT).
