ABSTRACT

This standard applies to aerosols consisting of silver nanoparticles (hereinafter referred to as nanoaerosols) for the assessment of toxicity upon inhalation and establishes an evaporation/condensation method for generating nanoaerosols. The evaporation/condensation method can be used to generate nanoaerosols consisting of gold nanoparticles.
