This standard, part of the IEC 62607 series of standards, specifies measurement methods for determining the surface resistance of carbon nanotube (CNT) materials. Application of the methods established in this standard will enable the user to compare the results of electrical measurement of CNT materials from different batches supplied by one or more manufacturers and to select a material suitable for the manufacture of final products. The correlation between the characteristic values ​​obtained using these methods and the values ​​of the corresponding characteristics of CNT materials should be established in standards or specifications for specific types of CNT. An example of the practical application of the measurement methods established in this standard is provided in Informative Appendix A.
