This standard applies to cylindrical helical compression springs made of round steel (hereinafter referred to as springs) operating under longitudinal and combined (longitudinal and transverse) loads in spring suspension, return and shock-absorbing devices on bogies, suspensions of traction electric motors and shock-traction devices of railway rolling stock, manufactured using a technology that ensures the formation of a controlled nanoscale substructure of the spring material.
