ABSTRACT
Part of the IEC 62607 family of standards, this standard covers cathode nanomaterials used for the manufacture of electrodes for electrical energy storage devices and specifies test methods for electrochemical characterization using a three-electrode cell. Based on the results of tests carried out by these methods, a decision is made about the suitability and a cathode nanomaterial suitable for the application is selected. This International Standard specifies requirements for a test specimen, test equipment, results handling, and an example of how tests are performed.
